HANAKAPI’AI WATERFALL 17DEC2010

Hanakapi'ai Falls is tucked 4 miles into the Kalalau Trail. At it’s base, 410 feet of the estimated 1600 foot waterfall is visible. The fall may have been named after a princess of the Menehune, a legendary race that lived on Kaua’i prior to humans; whom many believe still inhabit the island.
