PENA PALACE
This gorgeous Romanticist castle is located on top of a hill in the Mountains above the town of Sintra. Built on top of a ruined monastery, started in 1842 and completed in 1854. One of the Seven Wonders of Portugal, it was my favorite place on my tour of this beautiful, friendly country.
